Assembly

Assembly is technically not that hard, seeing as the instructions are fairly clear and all of the parts and tools come included in the packaging. It will take one person well over 2 hours to complete assembly of the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer. It is best that you have 2 people on hand to do this job. You can always choose to get expert assembly for the additional $100 if you want.

Warranty

What We Like About The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer

The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer is most likely one of the best high end elliptical trainers and overall best elliptical machines out there, so there are quite a few things which we really like about it.

One of the things that we really like about the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer is that the stride pattern can be reversed. This means that you can work out different muscles by moving both forward and backward on the elliptical.

Another thing that we really like about the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer is that the incline is fully adjustable. You can set the incline anywhere from 0 to 30 degrees in order to increase or decrease your challenge. Even better is that the incline is adjustable with the LCD console, instead of being manually adjustable.

Yet another thing that makes the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer so great is that it features over 20 levels of magnetic resistance. With the LCD display, simply press the required buttons to change the resistance level as you see fit. The type of resistance is magnetic, which we really like because it is smooth and quiet, plus the 29-pound high inertia flywheel helps to reinforce the quietness and smoothness of the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer.

Something else that makes the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer a great option to go with is that it has versatile handlebars and pedals. The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer comes with stationary handlebars equipped with heartbeat sensors, and it also has motion handlebars for a great upper body workout. In fact, the stationary handlebars come with various grip positions for your convenience. In terms of the pedals, they are large, they have good grip, and they can be adjusted to 3 different positions for your comfort.

The fact that the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer has a 375-pound weight capacity with several points of reinforcement is definitely impressive. This is without a doubt a very durable elliptical machine.

Finally, the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer comes with a few extra such as speakers where you can hook up your music player. It also comes with a multi-speed fan to keep you cool and comfortable for the duration of your elliptical routine.

What We Don’t Like About The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer

There are not too many things that we don’t like about the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer, seeing as it is one of the best high end options available today.

One of the things which we don’t like about the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer is that it comes with only 10 workout programs. Compared to some mid range models that come with over 20 programs, this seems somewhat lackluster.

We don’t like the fact that the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer weighs well over 200 pounds and is quite bulky. This makes assembly as well as general transportation somewhat of a pain.

Alternatives To The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer

So you have a point of comparison, let’s talk about some other high end elliptical machine models you can consider buying.

Schwinn 470 Elliptical Machine

This is a good high end alternative to consider no doubt. The Schwinn 470 Elliptical Machine is much cheaper than the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer, it is quite a bit smaller, has more workout programs, and is not as heavy either (not as heavy as the Sole E35). The Schwinn does have some more levels of resistance than the Sole E35, but in terms of being better, that is about it. The Sole E35 has more incline levels, adjustable foot pedals, a higher weight capacity and more. The Sole E35 Elliptical machine does have a good number of features which makes it well worth the price.

Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer

This is pretty much the upgraded version of the Sole E35, but it also costs quite a bit more, several hundred dollars more. Simply put, the Sole E95 Elliptical Trainer has a higher weight capacity, it has more positions for the foot pedals, it is a little more durable, quieter, and has a few other features which the Sole E35 does not have. In terms of size, they are about the same.

Final Thoughts On The Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer

Due to all of the advanced features which the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer comes with, in combination with its pretty fair price, it has to be one of the best models out there today. It comes with absolutely everything you could need for a challenging and comprehensive elliptical workout routine.
